Vivotek

VIVOTEK offers a comprehensive product lineup, including network cameras, video servers, video receivers, NVR, and central management software. In 2005, VIVOTEK launched the first self-developed multimedia SoC (VVTK-1000), and used it in its 7000-series surveillance products. For years to come, VIVOTEK will develop products featuring more advanced functions to broaden our product portfolio from entry level to high end. VIVOTEK will also continue to offer more cost-effective and higher value-added solutions for our customers.

Network Cameras

VIVOTEK gives you the ability to create and maintain an effective and reliable IP Surveillance System. Utilizing VIVOTEK's state-of-the-art IP Network Cameras, users can build a completely scalable, high performance wired or wireless IP Surveillance System that can effectively monitor and protect valuable assets.

With the installation of a networked surveillance system, you can locally or remotely monitor the safety and security of people and property anywhere, anytime. Networked surveillance makes it possible to
send live images and audio for remote monitoring, learning, troubleshooting, web broadcasting, and any other activity requiring a remote presence.

VIVOTEK's advanced codec technology allows you to easily view, control, and manage all networked cameras using any standard web browser or our surveillance management software from any networked computer.

Video Servers

VIVOTEK's video servers provide a reliable, user-friendly transition from CCTV to IP-Based Surveillance. These video servers receive data from the expensive analog hardware already threaded throughout the building and encode it utilizing our advanced codec system, developed by our innovative R&D department. After the data is securely encrypted, it can be sent out via network to be monitored, or recorded. Our video servers give the ability to choose H.264, MPEG-4, or MJPEG video compression to maximize bandwidth efficiency. Also, the addition of video servers to the analog systems gives enables such functions as: motion detection, pre/post alarm snapshots, DI/DO connection, and more. With VIVOTEK video servers, you can easily upgrade to an IP-based digital system from your existing analog system. While analog requires expensive coax cables to be installed before a camera can function, our video servers and wireless features allow for access through Ethernet cables or wireless hotspots giving you the flexibility to expand at pace that fits your needs.

NVR

An NVR (Network Video Recorder) is an IP-based recorder that operates independently from a PC or other operation systems. Aimed to store digital video streams from network cameras, an NVR is usually incorporated with a large-volume hard disk to allow for a long period of recording. An NVR differs from a traditional DVR in its network connectivity, which allows digital data to be transmitted to other networked devices over the Internet. Another difference is that an NVR can be directly connected to a network camera while a DVR is usually be connected to an analog camera.

VIVOTEK's NVRs helps you build a high-efficiency surveillance system, where you can simultaneously record, monitor and manage video data through the Internet.
